About the event
May 8 is Worldwide Donkey Day! Once again, we are celebrating donkeys by hosting our Annual Donkey Day event. Come on out and meet-and-greet with the donkeys, take a tour and learn about the rescue and why we rescue, learn about donkeys and their care, make donkey-related crafts and more. You can smooch a donkey in the PPDR kissing booth, groom a donkey, and relax while the kids jump in the bounce house. We will also have our little unicorn Kendra available to take pictures. We will have a 50/50 drawing, some contests and some pretty cool PPDR merchandise. Additional activities are still being created! Don't forget to bring some animal crackers, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or horse treats for our Treat Drive. Each bag or box of treats gets you an entry for a cool prize.
